Cobon Flexible Plastic Tubing ®
(POLYVINYL CHLORIDE)

  • COBON Flexible polyvinyl chloride tubing is odorless, tasteless and non-toxic.  Flex-life is 15 to 20 times that of rubber and it has excellent age-resistant qualities.
  • COBON has high resistance to oils, acids, alkalies.  Can be safely used in the conveying and processing of food stuffs.
  • COBON is not affected by bacteria and has very low water absorption.
  • COBON should not be exposed to aromatic hydro-carbons, ketones or esters for longer than 2-hour periods.  After use, COBON should be FLUSHED with TAP WATER.

  • COBON can be safely steam-sterilized at 20 lbs.  Steam pressure for 15 minutes.
  • COBON temperature range is -30 to +190F and its hardness on the SHORE A-scale at 30 is 65.
  • COBON is best attached to glass tubing by moistening with a soap solution.
  • COBON has wide domestic and world-wide industrial acceptance and distribution.
